Our latest publication God Speaking, Testimonies of where God’s Word has gone and what it has accomplished, written by Richard Prendergast, is a beautifully produced recent history of the work of the Naval & Military Bible Society. Full of recent pictures and testimonies it tells the story of how the Holy Spirit has guided those who have used the scriptures provided by this society. Service men and women explain how the Bible has supported their lives while deployed to areas of conflict. Merchant seafarers and their chaplains show how they have found their lives supported and transformed by reading the Word of God. The cadet organizations feature and show us how they use our material to point those young and inquiring mind to Christ.  This is a book you will enjoy reading and giving as a gift to your friends.

The Naval & Military Bible Society is also pleased to commend Navigating to the Muslim Heart by Guus Peters. Guus is the Seaman’s Christian Friend Society chaplain in Terneuzen, Netherlands. In this perceptive book are 17 testimonies on how Guus Peters has conversations with Muslim seafarers, and how he explains the Gospel in heart to heart conversations. Reading this book will help and encourage lots of Christians. The writer gives us a key as to how Muslim people could be reached with the Gospel. It will be an encouragement to Muslim people as well as they read how people of their faith group find Christ.
